Permissions - Thievery and Psychic Powers!

Zed's got some special abilities under her belt - this is going to be where I gather my information for what is and isn't okay for her to do/read about your character!

The abilities in question, straight from her app -

Learned Skills
Pickpocketing/Lockpicking/Misdirection - Her time on the streets has taught her a number of ways to get her hand on someone else's things for her own survival. (With permissions.)
Arcane Knowledge - Her time with John Constantine has taught her a fair bit about psychic powers, ghosts, and magic. She isn't a magic user herself, but can recognize it when she sees it (without panicing). Maybe in desperation she may try to cast a spell she's seen John do...but more likely it would do absolutely nothing.

Psychic
Precognition - Glimpses at the future of a person or place.
Retrocognition - Glimpses at the past of a person or place.
Clairsentience - Feeling the past, future, or present emotional states of others.
Clairtangience - Receiving psychic information with touch as the trigger/stimuli.
Channeling - Allowing a departed soul to speak through her body. (VERY DANGEROUS, VERY HARMFUL. Last time she tried this she was hospitalized. I do not know why this would come up in game, but if you have an idea, please ask!)

For each character who has CR with her, please answer the following:

Can Zed psychically read your character, by accident or with focus? If yes:
- Is there any imagery attached to your character that Zed could end up drawing or seeing? Symbols, scenes, features?
- May Zed feel the current emotional state of your character via touch? What emotions would you most closely associate with your character in general?
- May Zed experience a life event from your character's past? If so, is there a notable one you would like read?
- May Zed experience an event that is happening or about to happen to your character? (Obviously, this one will be planned OOCly at time of thread.)

Joel: She can sure try to steal from or pickpocket him, but Joel is a wary bastard, and if she does it in an arena, chances are he'll catch her and try to, well - beat the crap out of her.

Joel is a totally mundane human, nothing magical about him.

As far as psychic things go, go for it if you're down with digging into his HUGELY TRAUMATIC PAST. You are familiar I think with TLOU? If not, I can provide some details - long-dead daughter (gunshot wound to the belly), zombie apocalypse, etc.

Cullen: She might be a little more successful at stealing from Cullen, but I'd like to plot it out if you want her to steal something specific from him.

Cullen also has no magical abilities.

And once again, she can totally hit him up for psychic shenanigans, just be prepared for TONS of trauma, including torture both psychological and physical, as well as the fact that he's a recovering drug addict.

For Aang:

Can she pickpocket or steal from your character (per OOC agreement)? Would they be susceptible to a con artist? Yes, she can steal from him. Aang's very aware of his surroundings usually, but he's a trusting soul and can be swindled if he thinks he knows the person he's with. That said, if she tried to use psychic means to swindle him, she may run into more problems, which I'll detail below.

Does your character have noticeable magical attributes she would notice? If so, what are they? Aang is sort of like a magical kung-fu Jesus/Dalai Llama/Buddha/generic religious figure back home. He's not fully human; instead, he's a human and a spirit of light and harmony that fused together some ten thousand years ago, which means they're so intertwined that there's no distinction between the human and the spirit inside of him. He is in a cycle of reincarnation where he's born, protects the world into a ripe old age (sometimes as old as 230 years), and dies just to be reborn again. This means that she'd probably feel lots and lots of spiritual energy off of him, and there'd be an illusion of it coming from many different people and only one person at once.

Can Zed psychically read your character, by accident or with focus? If yes:
- Is there any imagery attached to your character that Zed could end up drawing or seeing? Symbols, scenes, features? There are lots and lots of scenes from various lifetimes that she could probably see and blur together, but a symbol that would consistently stand out would be two kite-like spirits fighting, the white spirit in particular, and giant purple glowing Aang looking down at the planet.
- May Zed feel the current emotional state of your character via touch? What emotions would you most closely associate with your character in general? Yes, and it's complicated. Aang has dealt with a lot in his many lives, and the experience could be pretty intense. If she were to touch Aang, she'd probably feel a lot of joy and playfulness with a powerful undercurrent of grief and loneliness just beneath the surface. The feeling one would most associate with him would be compassion.
- May Zed experience a life event from your character's past? If so, is there a notable one you would like read? Yes, and any one could work, but the most notable one would be Aang's discovery that every single man, woman, and child belonging to his race were brutally murdered on the off chance they might have been him. In a nutshell, he was frozen in ice for a hundred years, and when he woke up and ran back home, he found out he was the only survivor of a massive genocide, and many people don't even remember his people ever existed.
- May Zed experience an event that is happening or about to happen to your character? (Obviously, this one will be planned OOCly at time of thread.) Yes.

For Peggy (though she's a mentor, so I'm not sure if they'll ever have an opportunity for this to happen):
Can she pickpocket or steal from your character (per OOC agreement)? Would they be susceptible to a con artist? She can try, but Peggy is very savvy and grew up in a very impoverished area, so she knows how to spot and deal with petty theft.

Does your character have noticeable magical attributes she would notice? If so, what are they? None at all.

Can Zed psychically read your character, by accident or with focus? If yes:
- Is there any imagery attached to your character that Zed could end up drawing or seeing? Symbols, scenes, features? A sword is a major symbol, and there's a scene that goes over and over of fifteen-year-old Peggy crawling through the mud just to have a wire wrapped around her throat, then Peggy grabbing a fallen sword and stabbing it through herself to impale her attacker behind her. There's also a very heavy recursion of two teenage boys, one who is blond and skinny and has trouble breathing and one who is brunette and charming and broad-shouldered. They're both smiling and have bright blue eyes.
- May Zed feel the current emotional state of your character via touch? What emotions would you most closely associate with your character in general? Yes! Peggy is usually calm and thoughtful, but the most closely associated emotion with her is rage. There is a constant undercurrent of rage and a fierce desire to see the Capitol burn.
- May Zed experience a life event from your character's past? If so, is there a notable one you would like read? Yes! There's the aforementioned self-impaling, and there's also various instances of Peggy laughing or crying with the aforementioned boys. There is also instances where she was seventeen and she lay on the ground in a dark, empty house crying inconsolably for days on end without anyone around to check on her. There are darker things she could see, but that's only if you're comfortable with bringing them up.
- May Zed experience an event that is happening or about to happen to your character? (Obviously, this one will be planned OOCly at time of thread.) Yes.

She is welcome to try, but given his canon environment, he's very aware of his surroundings. Rick is quite likely notice that sort of proximity, and will retaliate if he catches her.

Does your character have noticeable magical attributes she would notice? If so, what are they?

Nope. He does have an impressive beard, but it's surprisingly without magical properties.

Yes, she can, though I'm not sure she'd want to.

Is there any imagery attached to your character that Zed could end up drawing or seeing? Symbols, scenes, features?

Rick was previously a sheriff, so there's definitely some symbolism attached to that. His sheriff hat in particular, which was passed down to his son.

He's extremely family oriented, with a (dead) wife, a baby daughter, and a son. He's since built up an adopted family of survivors. Basically, he lives to look after others.

May Zed feel the current emotional state of your character via touch? What emotions would you most closely associate with your character in general?

... It's complicated. Rick isn't the most stable of individuals. He's only recently found a sense of balance, but with the right push, he'll go back over the edge.

He's both ruthless and fiercely protective of his people. Life experience has made him paranoid and distrustful, and the Capitol brings out the worst of that.

He does have a more human, caring side, but in Panem, Daryl is probably the only one who can fully bring that out in him.

May Zed experience a life event from your character's past? If so, is there a notable one you would like read?

Sure. There are quite a few to choose from, as Rick is a magnet for horrible, traumatic things. Not sure how familiar you are with the canon, but I can fill in the details as needed, depending how dark you want to go with it.
